Neurodivergence Autism & ADHD

This is a brain scan of Temple Grandin, left, compared to someone without autism.
Grandin's visual output area is much larger than a typical person's.

Having been diagnosed with both Autism & ADHD I am finding it is a journey of re-discovering myself and just how difficult it is to function in  a world that is out of alignment with our nature.

We often blame ourselves for our differences and think their is something fundamentally wrong with us but....

Our current world is far from natural , bright lights, a cacophony of sound and information overload.

To me Neuro-divergence is a way of nature coming back to herself.

Our brains operate in a more connected way, there is less division between left and right hemispheres and we are more orientated through personal experience than learning through observation.
The reason we have sensory overload is we have more connections within both sides of the brain,

Trying to process it all is the challenge.

Emotional dis-regulation comes from feeling more intensely than our neuro-typical comrades, to the point that it becomes overwhelming too much information for this little self to process all in one go.
As children we may come in with heightened or extra sensory perception. Many of us are Savants especially those termed non-verbal, the struggle to communicate physically is because we are used to speaking from another dimension through feeling and telepathy and the body, brain connection is often offline until we begin to feel safe to be here.
There are many who are aiding in understanding autism & ADHD through scientific research.
Temple Grandin who is an autistic adult & Dr Diane Hennacy Powell one of the leading experts

in the areas of autistic savants , ESP and telepathy.

I may look 'normal' but I do not function in a neur-typical way.

And as If one of us in the family with AuDHD wasn't enough

All of my children are also on the spectrum so life with all our quirks is interesting to say the least
The link into genetics is another factor of Us New Kids it is all about the genes.
